Why do I need backflow testing?
Most Tauranga councils require commercial properties (and many high-risk residential connections) to have backflow devices tested annually by a qualified IQP.
How long does a test take?
Most single-device tests take 15–30 minutes on site. Certificates are issued and lodged with the council.
